For more than 10 years, McMahon has made a commitment to the future engineers who are still finishing their college programs. Our programs gives students the opportunity to be hands-on, on real transportation projects to grow their experience levels, and try out McMahon as possible a career path, post-graduation.
"My experience thus far with McMahon has been nothing short of awesome. During the short time I have been an intern, I have had the opportunity to work on many aspects of several different projects, each being a new and exciting challenge for me. The seemingly never-ending patience of my co-workers makes this an outstanding place to learn and grow as an aspiring engineer. "
Eric Roth, Former Intern, Now a Full-Time Staff Engineer
"My internship was a great chance to gain experience in certain programs like CAD and Microstation, and also to see how the company ran as a whole. Even the “typical intern” tasks that I was assigned to do were helpful in the long run, as I can now confidently prepare studies, plans, and forms for submissions. I was also able to work part-time during school which is great because not every company is that flexible. Overall, it was a great hands-on experience that you simply cannot receive while taking classes at an institution, and one that very much helped me land a full-time job."
Alexander Long, Staff Engineer
"I co-op'd here at McMahon for 6 months. So I was able to come in here and quickly work on projects. Fell in love with the company itself -- with the culture. The people I was working with were great and the work we were doing was really good. So when I graduated from Northeastern, and the position opened up that I'm in right now, I was happy to be able to jump at it and be familiar with the company right off the bat."
