McMahon today announced the creation of the Joseph and Peggy McMahon Transportation Engineering Scholarship Fund in tribute to the firm’s founder Joseph McMahon, and his wife, and longest-tenured key partner, Peggy McMahon. The couple established McMahon in 1976 with a “Pay It Forward” dedication at its core, and this scholarship fund preserves their legacy and promotes that commitment into the future to support new engineering generations.
McMahon Associates, Inc., a transportation engineering and planning firm, has promoted Matthew M. Kozsuch, P.E. to the title of Vice President and member of McMahon’s firm-wide, Executive Committee which is comprised of ten people that work to lead the 200-person firm. In early 2017, Kozsuch’s success elevated him to General Manager of the firm’s Exton office, in addition to serving as the Regional Service Leader for ITS for the Mid-Atlantic region.
McMahon has promoted Robert A. Smith, P.E. to Office Lead for the Rhode Island market. Robert (Bob) Smith has been a Senior Project Manager at McMahon for three years – first in the firm’s Taunton, MA location and now in the Lincoln, RI office – providing project and technical guidance on a wide variety of design tasks including roadways, intersections, ADA compliance, streetscapes and the development of traffic management plans.
McMahon Associates, Inc., a transportation engineering and planning firm, has hired Daniel M. McGinnis, P.E., PTOE as the new Office Lead for the firm’s New Jersey operations. With more than 13 years serving the traffic and engineering needs of New Jersey municipal, county government, and private clients, McGinnis brings extensive project management and business development experience to grow McMahon’s projects and clientele in New Jersey where the firm first established an office in 2003. Dan’s project and traffic engineering experience includes planning and design for highways and intersections, traffic control signal systems, lighting design, the design of pedestrian and bicycle facilities; as well as bid/construction document preparation.
