Associate & General Manager - Camp Hill, PA
Christopher Bauer serves as General Manager for the Camp Hill office where he is responsible for project oversight, team development and local market expansion.
With more than 25 years in the industry, Chris has developed a wide-ranging expertise in project management and all aspects of transportation engineering, including aviation, rail, highway design, traffic engineering and transportation planning. He has successfully completed projects for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, PennDOT, PANYNJ, NJDOT, NYSDOT and other state agencies. He also has extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations in states served by McMahon’s Mid-Atlantic offices. Furthermore, his knowledge of local transportation issues and the transportation funding process has enabled him to serve and guide numerous municipalities as a local project sponsor on state and federally funded projects. Chris did this is in addition to serving their day-to-day traffic consulting needs.
Chris also brings a wealth of private sector traffic consulting experience having completed, managed and testified on projects for corporations, developers, engineers, and attorneys.
Chris serves as a member of the Capital Region Chambers Transportation Subcommittee. He is a member of the Legislative Outreach Committee for the American Society of Engineering Consultants (ACEC), and as serves as Vice Chair of the ACEC Technology Committee.
Chris is a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and is often found on the sidelines of youth athletic events. He splits free time attending soccer, basketball and lacrosse events for his daughters, while coaching his son’s soccer and hockey teams. Chris is a licensed coach in hockey and soccer (USAH Level 4 and Soccer D Level). When not coaching or watching youth sports, Chris unwinds at the ice rink playing Adult League Hockey.
