John "Jack" Mitchell
Vice President & Regional Chief Engineer - Public Sector
John Mitchell (Jack) is a Vice President at McMahon and serves as the Regional Chief Engineer for McMahon’s public sector projects. Additionally, Jack serves as the firm’s Corporate Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer and manages the internal QA/QC review process for projects including conducting audits on key project design submissions.
Jack has been instrumental in a variety of transportation planning and design projects including preliminary and final design of highways, roadways and bridges. He also has specific experience working with PennDOT, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, on major and minor highway and bridge design projects.
Jack currently serves on the Legislative committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC/PA) and is the past-President of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE).
Jack enjoys golfing, hiking, reading and global travel in his spare time.
