Plans, Specifications, & Estimate (PS&E)
McMahon served as lead consultant for this estimated $2.0 million dollar smart transportation project (funded with Pennsylvania Communities Transportation Initiative-PCTI funds). The project includes roadway improvements, traffic calming and streetscape amenities along the SR 0162 Strasburg Road corridor through the historic Village of Marshallton to encourage the continuation of the traditional character of the village, to calm traffic, to create a more pedestrian friendly environment and to preserve the scenic and historic values of the village. The project tasks include preliminary and final roadway design, public involvement, environmental studies/NEPA clearance, utility coordination and preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) package. The project will be submitted and advertised for construction through PennDOT’s Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS).
