McMahon has been retained by the City of Easthampton, using a MassWorks funding grant, to design intersection and roadway improvements on Ferry Street and prepare construction plans and contract documents for construction bidding. The primary goal of the project is to improve Ferry Street/Lovefield Street/Pleasant Street intersection while implementing pedestrian, bicycle, and parking improvements along Ferry Street.

 

The project design consists of a roundabout, drainage/stormwater improvements, utility and lighting improvements, parking improvements, landscape/streetscape enhancements, shared use path design and crossing improvements.
